A Souper Douper Fundraiser

This past Fall the entire Epoch team from employees to residents, vendors and partners banned together to raise money for IDignity’s Souper Douper campaign. This was our 2nd year as a company supporting the organization and we went big, much bigger!

Our President and Principal, Justin Sand, has had the pleasure of serving on IDignity’s Capital Campaign for 4 years now and continues to be a proud supporter! IDignity is a local non-profit that was created to help the disadvantaged in Central Florida through the complex steps of getting personal identification. We took on IDignity’s mission to help our neighbors get their identification and dignity back!
We supported their mission through this year’s Souper Douper fundraiser. Souper Douper has always been a party with a purpose, but as many other events have gone virtual, so had the Souper Douper 2021. The event still had some amazing sponsors including The City of Orlando and AdventHealth. The generosity of our supporters helps neighbors in need obtain their legal identification documents so that they can pursue employment, housing, education, proper healthcare and so many more opportunities.
On average, it costs IDignity $300 and six hours of volunteer time to obtain all the identification documents necessary for one client to become self-sufficient. Every donated dollar counts and no amount is too small.
This year we celebrated at Ivanhoe Park Brewing and announced that we are so proud to say we raised over $10,000! We’re already brainstorming on how to exceed this goal for 2022!
